HOW CAN I LIVE OUT MY CHRISTIAN FAITH?

HOW CAN I LIVE OUT MY CHRISTIAN FAITH?

Religion has been the foundation of man’s belief rooted from scriptures and teachings of the church. It gives the people the way of life and the opportunity to live a righteous way such as the Christian Faith. The very fundamental aim is for the salvation of soul thus a man should live a righteous life where God is the center of every endeavor.

Being a Christian, people face numerous difficulties in every aspect of their lives. Many have arisen problems that burden man’s every attempt to live. Some had driven them away from God because of inevitable challenges. Some fell on the bait of adversary that eventually leave God behind and all His teachings. There are so many scenarios that we could never really imagine. These uncharted encounters are very common in human drama. It is part of the grand scheme or the law of nature. One of the concrete examples is when a man lost his will to live and tend to lose his love to God because of the accident that befell on him. He is physically and emotionally challenged and that resulted to a broken soul.

Truly, Christian faith is being challenged every day. The adversary is doing all his might to ensnare the people - to capture every curios soul to be in his side. The devil definitely captures soul in their weakest moment. This is how Christian Faith is being tested. The enemy finds any medium, in one way or another, to make the people commit sin. In some other cases, the devil triggers people through their sufferings or sometimes letting man indulge the things he likes most until he bathed in his own insatiability.

Indeed, man is being tested almost in his daily life. But If I were to tell how I live my life being a Christian, I would certainly say that I was like in a rollercoaster. There are times when I was tested by means of letting me pamper myself to do what I love most that I forgot to accomplish other works. I was driven by curiosity. But then I realized that I was slowly taking the wrong way. I prayed. I went to church every Sunday. The is my routine. Whenever I feel lost, I pray. I never let myself get lost in the recesses of an uncharted way. I always put God first in every endeavor, and in almost every waking moment. Every day I always encounter burdens, but praying is the only way to discard wrongdoing and temptations.

Further, in the context of poverty, it is one of the greatest enemies in every country. Poverty takes any form. It could be a form of the absence of basic needs. There are times when people are suffering from emotional breakdown and spiritual weakness – this is also a form of poverty that even rich people are suffering from. But in most cases, the very unyielding and undeniably true form of poverty is the absence of basic needs. This is surreal and difficult to deal with.

It is in my great understanding that Christian faith should be strengthen not only when problems arise but should be strengthen every moment. It is our shield against the enemy. It is our guide to live a happy life. It is through His teaching that we only acquire love, humility, compassion, and peace. Though we are encountered so many attempts exerted by the opponent, we should remain in the light of God. Though we are stained by sins and sometimes our soul is weak and wounded because of problems, we will bring forth to peace. We can only attain this through God.

Indeed, we all have the capacity to give answers to this problem. We have the power to lose its influence. Less fortunate people may basically work hard to sustain their living. Though poverty is slowly leading them to the brink of doing bad, still that is not the right thing to do. On the other hand, rich people may also use their affluence to help the needy. This should be the manner in solving poverty.

As a Christian, the only thing I can do to fight poverty, or any distress is to pray. Showing them compassion and care is enough to make people realize that any discomfort is just a hindrance to living a peaceful life.
